Vayu EVM xc5777x camera interface

Hi,

We have a Vayu EVM xc5777x board. We ported android on to the board. We would like to know which camera port is used to capture the camera input for android. We tried to feed in composite video on vin1 port and ran the camera application. We got "cannot connect to camera" error. can anyone suggest the right port for android ?

Hello Senthikumar,

There are two camera connectors on VAYU EVM board

- J5 Leopard Imaging (LI)

- VIN1A on Expansion connector - EXP_P2

Those connectors are connected to VIN1 port.

The default interface is VIN1A interface to expansion connectors. See the selection table and try to configure your IO expanders:

Thanks for the reply. I could not find the technical reference document for vayu EVM in TI website. Where could I get the "Vayu EVM CPU Board User Guide" and "DRA7xx Infotainment Applications Processor Silicon Revision 1.0 Technical Reference Manual"?

To obtain Vayu EVM CPU user guide and DRA7xx Infotainment Applications Processor TRM must be contact your local TI sales representative your FAE support.

I will forward your request to Vayu expert staff.

Hi Yanko,

We are able to connect the usb camera to vayu EVM and capture the frames. Now, We are trying to run our openCV application on to the Vayu EVM with android OS. We got "OpenCV Manager - package was not found" Error. Do you have any suggestion on which version of OPENCV is compatible with Vayu EVM? We are yet to receive the mail from TI FAE regarding the Vayu EVM technical document.
