PCIe for keystone I stuck at POLL_ACTIVE?

Hi,

I am using tmdsevmc6678LE for testing PCIe. I am using TMDXEVMPCI as adapter on both board and connecting them through PCIe cable. On one evm I am running PCIE_exampleProject in RC mode and on other evm in EP mode. Both evms are stuck at Starting link training.... I observed LTSSM state and it indicates that evm is stuck at POLL_ACTIVE. WHAT can cause this issue?

seems like link is not broken as per wiki page. as state is 0x02 not 0x11. Also do we need cross over pcie cable or straight pcie cable?
