I am working in interfacing Sitara Processor from texas instruments onto the PCI bus(sitara does not support inbuilt PCI). Can I interface AM3358 with PCI controller like PCI9054. Do I need to add any logic in between Sitara and PCI9054. Please Explain why do i need a logic in between Processor and 9054 in detail

You have already posted this here: e2e.ti.com/.../475497 Please do not double post on this forum. The PCI bridge chip that you refer (PCI9054) does not have a public datasheet on the internet, therefore it's impossible to answer your question in more detail.

Thank you for your reply and sorry for posting the question twice, Everything in my project got finalized , i got stuck up in this interfacing part As i am new to this PCI standard i want to know in detail about the interfacing. I see no way you can interface this to the AM335X processor.

As Biser outlined, there is no practical way to add PCI to the 335x series of processors. However, you may want to investigate the AM57xx series as it includes a PCI-Express interface for which there are many PCI-bridge chips available (the TI XIO2001 is a good example).
