Hello,
I'll use AM5716 which does not have IVA (and GPU). The OS is Linux.
Please tell me about the setting of AVS for IVA. Do the following registers contain valid values?
CTRL_CORE_STD_FUSE_OPP_VMIN_IVA_2 [11: 0] STD_FUSE_OPP_VMIN_IVA_ 2
Also please tell me about TRM "Figure 18-13. AVS Class 0 Procedure". Should I skip IVA branch? If I chose 'NO'(skip), I think the voltage of VDD_IVA will remain at default 1.06 V. Or, can I set AVS based on the setting value of the above register? If I can do it, I can expect a little power saving and share the source code for AVS procedure between AM5718 and AM5716.

Kazu
Hi Biser,
Biser Gatchev-XID said:Linux should set voltages automatically according to device type.
You mean, you think CTRL_CORE_STD_FUSE_OPP_VMIN_IVA_2 [11: 0] STD_FUSE_OPP_VMIN_IVA_ 2 of AM5716 has proper value?
So, I don't need to alter the Linux source code for setting AVS of IVA from AM5718 to AM5716?
