Secure Bootloader

Hi,

I want to know whether the DRA607 supports the secure bootloader functionality? Basically I want to secure the application image . How can I achieve this ?Is there any hardware support provided?

Hi Mohasinali,

DRA607 is the automotive variant of AM335x device, and it has secure boot option. This option is described in document which is available only under NDA and through local TI FAE. The document number is SPRUHL8. Please contact your local TI representative to acquire this document.

Thanks for your replay,

In "Cryptography Users Guide" it is mentioned that Linux driver and some kernel modules are needed to use 'cryptographic hardware accelerators', but for my application I am using VxWorks RTOS. So can I use cryptographic accelerators with VxWorks RTOS?

Mohasinali,

DRA607 device has Crypto Hardware Accelerators (AES, SHA, RNG). And there is Software support for these Hardware accelerators in the TI PSDK.

You can use the Crypto Hardware accelerators in VxWorks RTOS, but I can not say whether there is Software support already or you should add it by yourself.
