Hi,
We are designing one customised board using AM3352, ZCZ pkg.We taught of using DDR3 SDRAM of P/No: MT41K256M16HA-125(1.5V) with VTT termination(0.75V).
I was going through TMDSICE3359 eval board schematics.DDR3 connection is as below.
AM335X ICE Schematic _ P07_DDR3.pdf
Here the DDR3 SDRAM used is MT41J128M16JT-125.As per the DDR3 datasheet the address configuration for this part no is A[13:0].
Why is Address bit A14 (DDR3 Pin no. T7) also connected ? In datasheet this Pin is mentioned as NC.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
i) In TMDSICE3359 eval board, So connecting A14 bit of processor to NC(T7) pin of DDR3 in no way will affect the performance during booting ?
ii) We in our board, using MT41K256M16HA-125 DDR3 SDRAM has Addressing capability upto 15 bits A[14:0].
We are not connecting A15 address bit.
For DDR3 timing configuration, can both be compatible ?
Thanks & Regards,
