Initially the usecase was somewhat like this:
Capture -> Sync -> Alg_ImgCpy(EVE2) -> Dup_cap -> ....
The output of ImgCpy was a video buffer.

I updated this and added a new plugin, so now the usecase is:
Capture -> Sync -> Alg_ImgCpy(EVE2) -> Alg_ToneMapping(DSP1) -> Dup_cap
So the input of ToneMapping is video buffer and output is video buffer.

priv.c and priv.h was then generated.

Since the usecase got updated, i have done all the required changes:
Updated the link_api folder
Updated the algID in ToneMappingLink_algplugin.c
Added support for new link in tool
updated the make files

On going through the utils_mbx.c i can see that message allocation is not happening.
What can be the issue?

It looks like you miss some steps in the Algorithm link integartion or some mmeory curruption.
can you please refer one algo, say frameCopy and follow all the chnages of integration.
if you use VSDK 2.12 then we do have a documnet to follow.

download fresh VSDK and build,

Test frame copy UC

<2>

Modify frame copy Alg link as per your requirement and test.

please note, let’s not add a new alg link, Modify existing frame copy Alg link

Hello Shiju,

I have identified a part of my algorithm which causes the error to come. If i comment out this part of code, the error doesnt come.

Its a function that is called 4 times in the main function, used for image correction. So the pixel intensity is getting multiplied by a certain factor and that new intensity is stored in the same pixel location. The code is attached.

I just don't seem to understand the issue with the code,please look into it.
