CCS/AM5708: Configuration file

Hi Team –

We tried to connect JTAG to CCS and couldn’t find the AM5708 processor listed there… we chose the AM571X series processor and were able to detect the core. Is there a CCS configuration file for AM5708 processor? Or should the AM571X series processor configuration work with AM5708?

Hi Dan,

I tried CCS 7.2, there is AM5706/08 I can select. You maybe used an older version of CCS, please update CCS--->Help---->check for update if it helps, it not, please try CCS 7.2.

From GEL perspective the customer should use AM571X GEL files but it may need some modification based on their DDR and PMIC.

Dan,

We checked with the CCS team, the emulation update for AM570x was pushed along with CCSv7.0 release, the update is available for all versions of CCS so you can update your Sitara Chip Support package to get the update.
