Linux/TMS320DM8148: EDMA Usage with Dm814x .

I am Running a program on A8 and want to copy Some data to other memory address , using memcpy costing my A8 to get busy , How can i do this using EDMA , Because i have nt found any example

which allow user to access API's for EDMA .

I am Using latest EZSDK and kernel 2.6.73.

Hi Ammar,

You can refer to below link

This api works for 2.6.37 , you can give it a try with your kernel whether these apis are present or not.

I havent Used EDMA before if you can guide me i ll be gratefull .
I insmod edma.ko
it works fine , but i want to use the edma i my application running on arm , How i can achieve it ?

Dear Anuj ,

Let me Explain my scenario , I have an image in memory , want to copy it Using EDMA from Arm , and after copying get notified . Then want to Process the Image from DSP and Place it on an other Addr using EDMA .
Kindly let me know if you can help me with it .
