Linux: SSH issue in AM335x board

Tool/software: Linux

I am working on an embedded project in which we have custom designed AM335x based board. We have used arago yocto as build system.

Now the issues is with the SSH connection. I can do ssh only using putty v0.61 / v0.62. I can not do ssh using other higher version of putty or my linux machine.

Can anybody help here? Below are the logs for cmd ssh -vvv root@10.99.19.49

    Hi Kemal,

    Thanks for your quick response.

    Version details in board

    root@am335x-evm:~# ssh -V
    OpenSSH_7.1p2, OpenSSL 1.0.2h 3 May 2016

Version details of linux PC from where I am doing SSH

    chirag@pc:$ ssh -V
    OpenSSH_6.6.1p1 Ubuntu-2ubuntu2.8, OpenSSL 1.0.1f 6 Jan 2014

Before a week or so I was able to do ssh from the same.

No significant changes during this week.

    Regards,

    Chirag

  • Then investigate what happened to your system. Check if the system date is correct, whether some certificates has not expired, check if something in your company network has not changed. Everything.
  • Hi Kemal,

    Thanks for your suggestion.
I tried different scenarios for the openssh server but it did not work.

Finally I tried to use the dropbear instead of openssh and it worked.

    Regards,
    Chirag
