Linux: J6 Vayu EVM - CPSW driver - FQTSS Support (IEEE 802.1Qav)

Tool/software: Linux

 Hello,

I'm using J6 Vayu EVM board, I'm looking for support for FQTSS implementation.

As per AVB standard, for implementing FQTSS on end-station (Talker node), Traffic shaper algorithm (Credit-based shaper) should be implemented using hardware packet queue.

When I referred the TRM of J6, it is mentioned as GMAC_SW subsystem supports Audio/Video Bridging (P802.1Qav/D6.0). So I assumed that the board has the capability to implement FQTSS, and so Qav is implemented in CPSW driver.

When I looked the other thread of TI forum for configuring the CPSW driver in kernel, I couldn't get any info. And to my surprise I found few response(which is dated more than a year back) like CPSW driver is not supporting Qav.

I want to know whether in the latest updated CPSW driver supports FQTSS or not. If yes how to configure the same.

Note : I'm using GLSDK 7.04.00.03 and HW is J6 Vayu EVM Rev H.

Regards,

Karikalan
