Linux: /etc/network/interfaces

Tool/software: Linux

I work with SDK 4.0. on Sirara 5728

We normally add the basic Ethernet configuration (like static, persistent IP address)  in /etc/network/interfaces.

I took the existing file and I added the green lines and commented out the red ones. The file is normally read by Linux during booting (so it works for our debian distribution).

But it does not seem to have any effect in TI SDK Linux distribution: No IPv4 address is assigned.

Any hint what I’m doing wrong? Is there maybe another way to configure a static IPv4 address persistently?
