Hi,
My customer is trying to use C6678 SRIO IBIS-AMI model, but they encountered the following error with ADS.
It seems *.dll files has been placed on the same directory with IBIS files, but still they saw erros.
Can you suggest ?
I`m not sure if the related document is existing in IBIS package, but if you have separately, send me, please.
Error detected by hpeesofsim in Tx_AMI1 during netlist flattening.
Unable to load AMI library
'C:\ti\Keystone2\Keystone_SRIO_AIF_Hyperlink_SerDes_AMI_Model_v0p96_r1p2\tx_ibis_ami\librincewind_40nm_tx.dll'.
Please check in your IBIS file whether AMI library (DLL)
for the 32-bit Windows platform is specified and
whether it is stored in the same folder as the IBIS file.
Environment:
- windows7 64bit ADS ver 2016.01.1 (64bit) or
- windows7 64bit ADS 2014.01(64bit) or
- windows7 32bit ADS 2014.01(32bit)

Naoki,
Please refer to the TI Keystone DSP Hyperlink SerDes IBIS-AMI Models Application Report (SPRABW2) on the C6678 product page. It discusses the operating system support and simulators that have been tested. This IBIS-AMI model cannot be updated to support newer operating systems and other simulators. Can they use one of the simulators listed on page 3 of this document?
Tom
Naoki-san,
We have very limited support for the KeyStone-I IBIS-AMI models. These models have been used by well over 50 customers. They are known to be functional. Use issues with specific tools and tool versions is beyond what we can provide. The documents at
and
on the C6678 product page provide guidance for simulation set-up and execution. It lists tools and versions and operating systems that are expected to work. You also need to be sure to use a version of IBIS compatible with these old models.
