DRA746: Disable EMIF2 ddr_ck/ddr_nck

Question from customer:

Have a case where there is no RAM chips connected to EMIF2 interface, but can see clocks on ddr_ck/ddr_nck lines. They tried to reset EMIF2_EN_SLICE_0 to EMIF2_EN_SLICE_2 bits in CTRL_WKUP_EMIF2_SDRAM_CONFIG_EXT but still clock is there. Is it possible to turn off EMIF2 or at least stop the clock on ddr2_ck/ddr2_nck pads?

    Hello John,

    Not the EMIF expert, but fired up the Clock Tree Tool and tried disabling EMIF there. Looks like these registers do the trick to cut the clocks for EMIFs.


    Can they try these CLKCTRL register too?
