Hello,

I am trying to load my program to SPI flash by following this instruction:

At the end error occurs:

What could I do wrong? I am trying to load *.bin file from project 'debug' folder.

I appreciate any help.

I see, there is no longer support. So could you tell me what should I do to flash binaries to memory using only PRU-ICSS library? There is no 'Tools' folder with bin flasher application.

About your question on "tools" folder. When you installed Processor SDK, it gets installed Platform Development Kit (PDK). Inside the PDK folder you can find "tools" folder at: <PDK_INSTALL_PATH>\packages\ti\starterware\tools\.

Sorry for the delayed response on this thread. Let me first start by pointing you to our official policy in supporting this legacy software package:

For continued long term support, we recommend that you upgrade to the Processor SDK RTOS and PRU-ICSS FW package or choose the mailing list that David specified in his E2E sticky note.

The process of creating and loading the boot image to SPI flash and booting from it has been documented in the wiki article:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM437x

If you upgrade to Processor SDK RTOS and are still running into this issue then let us know and we will provide further guidance on this issue.

Hello,

thank you for your reply. In the meantime I found out about Processor SDK RTOS and PRU-ICSS FW and I upgraded it in my PC. I followed instruction you provided above Rahul, I patched and built PDK, I prepared _ti.bin files and I created new thread with my issue:
e2e.ti.com/.../668574
I loaded bootloader and application to SPI flash, but nothing happens after booting ICE board. As you can see in my new thread (link above) there is no action after load application to DDR. To be honest, I am not sure if it is loaded. Please, check my new thread:

when I did step-by-step following that instruction set: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM437x

After upgrading and following instruction from processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM437x can be loaded to SPI flash but doesn't run while booting ICE board.

I am going to close this thread as you referred to SYSBIOS Industrial SDK in your original post and have received the appropriate guidance . We will follow up on this issue in the new E2E thread that you have opened after migrating to the processor SDK RTOS setup.
