AM3352: DDR3 memory replacement

Hi,

I am using the DDR3 memory MT41K512M16HA-125 for the AM3352.

I want to replace this DD3 memory with a memory from the company Intelligent Memory -> IM8G16D3FCB. Do you know if AM335x would work with this memory?

Hi,

The link you posted is not reachable. DDR3 requirements are listed in section 7.7.2.3 of the AM335x Datasheet Rev. J. There is no list of compatible/recommended DDR3 parts.

Hi Biser,

the device in question is the IM8G16D3FCB (the link was just to link to the website of this product).
From the specifications of this memory (you can find it in google, as i cannot send you the link), would you say this memory would work with our AM3352?

If it complies with the datasheet requirements, then yes, it should work.
