Hi,

Warnings and Notes, when run Golden Parser Check for IBIS Model AM5728.ibs in Cadence Sigrity 2017 SystemSI.

IBISCHK6 V6.1.0

    Hi Oleg,

    The file you attached shows that the model is compatible with IBIS 5.1 as expected. What is the question?

    Hi, Bill!So many warnings and notes - it's normal? 

    eg:

    WARNING - Model Model_175: The [Rising Waveform]
    with [R_fixture]=50 Ohms and [V_fixture_min]=0V
    has MIN column DC endpoints of -0.00V and 1.36v, but
    an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields
    different voltages ( 0.00V and 1.43V),
    a difference of 0.01% and 4.48%, respectively.

    WARNING - Model 'Model_194': MAX VI curves cannot drive through Vmeas=0.55V
    given load Rref=1e+008 Ohms to Vref=0V

    etc.

    I fixed IBIS for HyperLynx DDRx wizard. It's now correctly loads the values from IBIS.

    Hi Oleg,
    The IBIS spec includes many features that are listed as optional. If the model provided doesn't support an optional feature, a warning or note will be generated. You will see that some of the warnings occur multiple times. Since we use the same model for multiple pins, the same warning will be generated for each pin. I'm glad you got Cadence to accept the model.
