AM5728: PMIC doesn't start

Hello，

1) Using AM5728 to make a core board, using the matching PMU, TPS6590376ZWSR.

2) Hardware test, TPS6590376ZWSR has no voltage output, the input is 5V, and the test crystal frequency is normal. A portion of the LDO output is hot. No short circuit was found on the board. At present, I have made 2 boards, and the phenomenon is the same.

3) The attachment is a schematic, please help us to check the problem!

Hello Roy,

Schematic reviews are not supported by us through E2E. What I can do is share as much documentation as possible on how to properly design with the TPS659037 + AM57x.

However I did look at the TPS659037x schematic and I see you don't have GPIO_7 connected. That is one of the pins needed to operate the chip. See Figures 3 and 4 of the guide. As a quick test, pull this pin up to VRTC on your board and it should boot. I can't explain the hot LDO however.
