Linux/AM3354: Weston desktop disable

Thanks to read my question !

When I start my custom board based on am3354-evm 。It always appear weston desktop ,after that my self app that Qt application come up then.

I add psplash at kernel boot time. I want app start after psplash disappear. Don't want user see weston desktop . the same after power off .

Hello Lin Yang,

If you want to stop weston to not loading on boot up refer these e2e threads:

They also contains information how you could stop matrix gui to load.
If you want to modify the Matrix gui you could check this one:

But if you want to run your qt demo without weston refer this:

thank to reply,my be I did not clearly. my mean is I don't want user see the weston it's own desktop. my app run need weston platform.
is it possible?

Hello Lin Yang,

In case you want weston to run, you could change options like background-type, background-image, panel-location in weston.ini.
You could find this file under /etc/ folder.
