Linux/J6EVM5777: Problem with IPv6 over USB NCM interface

Part Number: J6EVM5777

Tool/software: Linux

Hi

This question is a continuation from a previous thread on IPv6 issue on Android OS --> https://e2e.ti.com/support/arm/automotive_processors/f/1020/p/657820/2447091#2447091

We are still using 6AM.1.3-P1 but I recently tested 6AO.1.1 for a possibility of migrating to the latest OS.

I have flashed the pre-built binaries from TI and did a simple ping6 test using the TI Jacinto 6 board and my laptop using a crossover ethernet cable as was done previously.

I'm still not able to ping using IPv6 between the devices.

It does work, however, when I use a shared access point in between.

But I need it to work over a direct connection which eventually will be used for CarPlay USB NCM communication using IPv6.

I wonder how you were able to verify this problem was fixed with the internal version before 6AO build was released by TI.

Thanks,

Alan
