Hello,

I have AM572x Evaluation Module and Camera Module.

Camera module cannot detected:

When i try to run dual_camera there is "first camera detection failed":

This is my camera module:

I use ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.00.00.15

I don't know what to do.

Hello,

Please add
fdtfile=am57xx-evm-cam-mt9t111.dtb in uEnv.txt file.
You could check this wiki page for more information
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../How_to_Change_dtb_File
about how to add dtb file.
After this you must restart the board.
Execute ls /dev/video* if you do not see /dev/video1 please attach the log from this command:
dmesg | grep mt9t

But if there is /dev/video1, here is the command for dual-camera demo:
cd /usr/bin
/etc/init.d/weston stop
./dual_camera -platform linuxfb
You could start this demo from Matrix GUI also.

Hello,

Please try to remove the camera module and connect it again ( with screws please).

You could try snapping the sensor on the sensor board tightly and see all the pins are secure well.

Hello,

I tryed to remove camera module and connect it again with screw 3 times, but it still not detected.

Pins look well.

I don't have another board to check. What else can I try with software? Or the problem definitely not in the software?

Also, I tried to connect a webcam and everything was fine, video1 was detected. But dual_camera shows me just green screen.

Hello,

You could check how this was solved in the trhead, is it working for you.

You could try snapping the sensor board tightly to the base board and see if it fixes the issue.

Hello,

In the tread there are 3 link to another threads. And in all 3 threads there is just recommend to replace.

I just tryed snap sensor board. It didn't help.
