Hi,
I have a follow-up question related to my previous post. I have looked at the TI Design reference TIDEP-0083 and it fits what I want to test. I noticed that in the document they state that we can use 4 microphones with the C5517 and 2 microphones with the C5545. I was under the understanding that the C5545 supported four microphones. Is there a reason why the document states only two? Is this because there is already a microphone plus a "line in" connector on the TMS320C5545 booster pack so only two more are left? If so could I disable these to use all four microphones from the microphone array?
Finally, could I use a circular microphone array from another vendor with four microphones as long as I have I2C and I2S interfaces? Will that be a lot more effort to integrate with the SW provided with the TIDEP-0083?
