TDA2PXEVM: Tera Term issues while running tda2PX

Hello,

I am trying to boot TDA2px using SD card by following step-by-step instructions mentioned in the ProcessorSDKRadar_UserGuide pdf. However, after i copy MLO and AppImage into SD card (after formatting it to FAT32 allocation with 512 unit size), when I put the SD card into the memory slot and open Teraterm with 115200 baud rate Serial port, I observe that the Tera Term remains blank most of the times. However, if I keep repeating it for few times, it sometimes starts working/ booting up. Do you know what might be the issue here?

Can you elaborate more on when it starts working.
Do you have any logs that you can share.

Hello Rishabh,

Thank you for your reply. The tera term screen hangs (just remained blank) and I don't see any log files when that issue happens. Currently, I got it working by turning off the 12V DC power supply of TDA2Px EVM kit and repeating the entire procedure. It started automatically in the first attempt. But I had to do it multiple times to figure this out. Previously in one of the occasion, it booted up immediately when I reset the serial terminal through Tera Term. Have you faced any such problem before? Do you know what could be the issue?

Hi Nishant,

SBL boot will happen only after doing power on reset for SoC.
Issuing reset on serial term will not have any effect on boot.
