i was wondered if there is any existing setting to overclock TI devices, for example for DSP: (600MHz)--->(900MHz) what are the steps and how can we do this in linux side?
my customer wants to purchase am5728 used for img processing
ill be thankfull for any help

It should be possible to configure DSP clock frequency from user space also. You should make direct read/writes to DPLL_DSP registers (in example CM_CLKMODE_DPLL_DSP, CM_CLKSEL_DPLL_DSP, etc). You can use devmem2 or omapconf tool. And probably you will loose control and data in DSP during the DSP clock frequency change. Check how kernel change DPLL_DSP settings that has been previously set by u-boot and reuse that approach. You need to switch DPLL_DSP from Locked to Bypass than back to Locked state.

Also before switching to 750MHz (OPP_HIGH) you need to be in the corresponding voltage level, see DM section 5.5.2 Voltage And Core Clock Specifications
