Hello, TI Experts,

Our customer sent us an additional question about TIMEOUTENABLE-bit of AM5746 from below E2E thread.

Question:

When TIMEOUTENABLE-bit set to "0" to disable this timeout feature, a time-out error don't occurs.

Because the time-out counter don't count and never reaches 0 regardless gpmc bus signals condition such as gpmc_wait and gpmc_csx.

Is this understanding correct?

Hi Biser,

Please let me confirm the following question just in case.
If TIMEOUTENABLE-bit set to "0" and wait for releasing the wait pin, will the AM57x device wait until releasing the wait pin forever ?
(i.e. It is not effect the monitoring time-out settings.)
