RTOS: Offset of few horizontal lines are observed before the start of frame.

Hi All,

Actually we do video capture through VIP1_Slice1_Port_A (DRA7xxx) with resolution 720*480 .The origin of the frame is starting with few offset even though all 480 lines are captured. This results in first few lines are black and bottom few lines are hidden from the display. Also the horizontal also offset by one pixel. What could be reason for the same? Please refer the highlighted section.

What is the capture input interface that you are using? is it embedded sync or discrete sync interface?

It is through embedded syn BT-656 format.

Hi Jeyaseelan,

There might be 2 to 3 lines of blanking (2 lines for one field and 3 for the other field) lines in the embedded sync captured video.
Please check if there is any way in your decoder to move start of active video. Otherwise you need to trim off these blanking lines from the captured video.
You could either do this in the code itself by moving start buffer address to second/third line or if you are using VIP, VIP can crop the data and remove upped two lines.
