Hi ,

AM5728 response time.

I want GPIO response as quick as possible .

My requirement is GPIO should respond  1 micro sec( Min) and 10 Milli Sec (max).

Response time is depends on OS/RTOS ? Please suggest which RTOS/OS need to use for quick response.

Do you have any timing diagram for GPIO response time.

    Srinivas,

    We have compared the latency of ARM(cortex A8) toggling a GPIO and PRU`s toggling the GPIO  in the past. based on that effort both the cores should be able to meet your requirement. I am providing it for your reference:

    the number were calculated using bare-metal (no OS code) but you could also run TI RTOS. On AM5728,  you have multiple cores that will meet this requirement.
