Hi,

In my design we are using TMS320C6747(DSP) processor with External NOR flash,Can we program the external NOR flash using JTAG.

I tried this Serial Boot and Flash Loading Utility for OMAP-L137 in my EVM but ,i want to program my external NOR flash using JTAG only.
In my design i don't have UART(serial port) for DSP processor.

Some third party JTAG pods like PEMIcro might have the HW and SW to program NOR memory.

TI has their dvflashutils that are programs you run from the CCS IDE. Projects are here:

Not the fastest but it is free.

This is useful ,now i am testing on OMAPL137 EVM SPI Flash with SPI Writer code.

Now i am stucked at ERROR: Verifying SPI data failed and SPI Flashing Failed! .

what are the app image load address (in hex) and app image entry point address (in hex), i have entered 0x000000 and 0x1F0000 and which gel file i have to use.
