DM3730: Problem faced with processor booting

Dear Sir/ Madam,

The processor is not booting from MMC1 SD card. The booting mode is Boot code [6:0] 1001111. The NAND flash is empty and Boot code is stored in SD Card. But it is not booting and displays the following message through UART (Serial Terminal):

U-Boot SPL 2011.09 (Feb 02 2015 - 21:50:17)
Texas Instruments Revision detection unimplemented.

Can you please provide suggestions to debug the issue

Hi,

You should have an eeprom that holds the board ID, there are a lot of e2e threads (for the Sitara devices) that provide solution to this. For example you can refer to:

And adapt for your processor.

The processor DM3730 is used in custom board. So suggestion given here is not appropriate to my problem. Can you please suggest some other way out to resolve the issue.

You could grep your code and remove the board id check or hardcode it to return correct value.
