TMS320C6747: AC Timing differences between C6747 and DA810

Part Number: TMS320C6747

Hi,

As you see in the original post, my customer has to move over from DA810 to C6747 on their custom board. They noticed some differences on AC timings between these devices.
Please take a look at the following pictures. The left side is C6747 and The right side is DA810. It seems they wanted to know the reason/background for the differences, but I believe these numbers are actually validated on C6747 and they should follow the spec from C6747 datasheet even if DA810 and C6747 is regarded as very similar device. Correct, right?

Best Regards,
NK

What revision on DA810 datasheet does your customer have and what is it's date of publication? The latest version of DA810 datasheet in the internal repository is dated June 2014

Irrespective, as you mention while following c6747 datasheet for c6747 design - customer needs to follow the c6747 EMIF specifications/timings.

I would not be able to support queries on why there are differences between the two (assuming they have the latest rev of DA810)

  • Hello Mukul-san,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we have the latest version of the datasheet.
Understood. I will suggest the same to the customer.

    Have a nice year end!
