AM4378: Pinmux output files usage

Hi everybody , 

I used a lot AM57xx before and trying to reuse my Sitara experience  on AM4378 and IDK  .

now about  pinmux utility I can see 4 files generated 

I find the file am43xx_pinmux.h but the file am43xx_pinmux_data.c from the  pinMux tool seems to be called am43xx_idkevm_pinmux_data.c (but this is of course just an assumption).

My questions are:

1)     Why are the pin mux files inside the starterware folder and not like for the AM572X IDK inside the C:\ti\pdk_am437x_1_0_17\packages\ti\board\src\idkAM437x folder? Somehow the SDKs for the different Sitara devices are not consistent.

2)     Why isn’t the file name of the PinMux data C-file according to the C-file name inside the starterware\board\am43xx\ folder?

could you give me  some indication on how to work  with these files  considering  I have very good experience on AM57xx IDK ?
