Dear experts,

Can you please explain the difference between these things :

DPI Parallel output
DP
eDP

and where they exist in TDA4VM EVM ? because I only see a display port on the hardware.

(my requirement is to generate RGB24 siganls, can you suggest how I can do it ?)

Hello Brahim,

You could use DPI interface to get RGB24 signals out of DSS.

Hi Brijesh,

Actually, I don't know to where DPI is connected on the EVM hardware !

DP / eDP ==> Display port

DSI ==> DSI FPC Connector

DPI ==> ??????

Hello Brahim,

DPI is available on one of the EVM expansion connector, i guess it is J51, J48. On this connectors, we could connect infotainment daughter card and this board has HDMI on it.
