Hi,

I am working on pcb connections and im using AM5718. And i want to connect external RAM(4 GB). Can i connect this RAM to AM5718?

If i can connect, can you help me about this?

Hi Suleyman,

AM5718 datasheet says upto 2GB per chip select. AM571x TRM says there is only chip select 0 and chip select 1 is not supported in the device. Hence I believe only upto 2GB is supported in AM571x device.

Hi,

What do you mean chip select? So, I can connect a 2 GB DDR3-1333 (667 MHz), right?

I am searchin on external DDR3 2GB ram but i dont find yet, where can I find external ram and where is the information about its connections?
