Hi,
I use customer boards with OMAP-L138.
SYS-BIOS OS ver. 6.75.02.00 works on ARM core. DSP works without any OS.
I currently have sixteen the same boards. Boards work with the same program. My problem occures sometimes. ARM core has been suspended but DSP core works fine (DSP controls LED via GPIO). Now, very important notice! This problem doesn't occure on the all boards. The problem is irregular and occurs once every few days. Replacing the TPS device on the board sometimes helps and after that board works fine.
But why ARM has been suspended and SoC not be reset?
Why DSP still works correctly?
I can't understand it. Can anyone explain it?
Regards, Patryk
Hello, without having a board to test this intermittent issue, it is difficult to give a definitive answer as to what is going on. The guidance I would offer is to try to find a way to reliably get into the failed state so that you can isolate the issue and determine the root cause.
