TDA4VM: Could 2 TDA4 chip communicate directly through SGMII without PHY?

2 TDA4 on one PCB in our project. Could 2 TDA4 chip communicate directly through SGMII without PHY? If YES, should one TDA4's SGMII TX connect directly to the other TDA4's SGMII RX?

Hello.

Yes, this is supported. You will connect Tx to Rx in both directions between the SerDes.

There are software / configuration updates needed on top of the Processor SDK for this configuration. I'll provide an update with details.
