could you confirm the application is similar to a HDMI->Svideo converter? and it is only for standard SDTV resolutions?

The processor device may be an overkill, yet still need an external HDMI receiver.

This is a converter from TMDS(HDMI) to S-video. I hope "only for standard SDTV resolutions" type if available. If such IC is not available, I accept another video IC that includes this feature (as possible as simple).
I switch the input of NTSC-M / PAL-B and output to same S-Video port.

Could you please suggest the video codec IC?

Do you mean any TI product for HDMI to SVideo conversion support?

Yes, Typically SVideo is used for SD resolution ie NTSC and PAL.

Thank you for your reply.

Our customer wants to know which TI product is good for his project. His expectation is:

- TMDS input to Y/C output conversion
- Y/C output of NTSC-M/PAL-B
- Switching of NTSC/PAL is decided by the input of the codec IC (H/L signal).

I hope you recommend your product(s) that fits to his project and share the datasheet (if it is published).

I think for TMDS/HDMI input, we have to use external HDMI decoder. DM642, DM8147/8148, none of them support HDMI as input.
