AM5728: Questions about VIP(Video Input Port)

Part Number: AM5728

Hello, experts

I'm considering to develop a H.264 Codec board with AM5728.
I have several questions about VIP(Video Input Port).

Q1. AM5728 has 3 VIPs(Slice:6). Discrete Sync can support maximum 6 video inputs simultaneously. Is that correct?
Also, can Port A and Port B of Slice be used simultaneously?

Q2. About Source Multiplexing (Refer to page 1916, AM572x SitaraTM Processors Silicon Revision 2.0,1,1 Technical Reference Manual)

According to Table 9-13 Multiplexing Configurations, input D1 Interlaced can be 8@(Maximum Channels in Single 16-bit Data Interface Mode)
       That is to say, AM5728 can support Maximum 48(= 3VIP * 2Slice * 8) channels, right?

Q3. About the below Modes on Table 9-13 :
(A)Maximum Channels in Single 16-bit Data Interface Mode

(B)Maximum Channels in Dual 8-bit Data Interface Mode -Interleaved Channels per Single 8-bit Port.
One 16-bit VIP can be configured to support two such 8-bit ports.

If the input data format condition: BT.656(8bit YCbCr:4:2:2), are the connection configurations like the attatched(connection.pdf)?

Thank you in advance.connection.pdf
