hi:

We are using TDA4VM Processor and developing custom board based on it and we are testing the BSP based on the custom board.

we useing rtos + qnx

we starting the board with extern sd card

then starting up is ok but cpsw2g is error

What is the missing step or software package that causes this problem

All the steps are from the official

then we use the latest version，There are the same problems。

    Hi,

    Just ran the same steps, and they are passing on local TI EVM

    (1)

    Regarding "/proc/boot/.console_ti.sh: /ti_fs/scripts/user.sh[23]: screen: cannot execute - No such file or directory", seen in logs.  This error is indicating that the screen binary is not part of the SD card or cannot be found in expected $PATH.

    The screen binary would have been installed as part of the installation procedure, when downloading from QNX Software Centre.  The "make qnx_fs_install_sd" build option would have copied it to the SD card.  

    While this error is not necessarily related to the CPSW2G, can you please check SD card content to ensure this error is cleaned up, or indicate that screen not being present was intended.  Looking to ensure SD card is properly created.

    (2)

    For the CPSW2G driver can you please launch the driver with verbosity enabled (io-pkt-v6-hc -d cpsw2g verbose=0xff), and provide the slog2info logs after issue occurs.  Steps to launch the io-pkt-v6-hc driver are documented at:

    (3) Is this test being done on TI EVM, or custom H/W

    （1）the doc Vision Apps User Guide ，ETHFW Demos the last lines write Note: Ethernet firmware must be disabled in order to use the HDMI display 。i close the hdmi and edp device 。sd card is properly created。

    Hello,

    Thanks for the details.

    Looking at the logs, it is clear that the U-boot version used is not compatible with the Processor SDK RTOS & QNX releases used  ( PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J721E/07.01.00.11 &  PROCESSOR-SDK-QNX-J721E/07.01.01.00).

    We see that the U-boot version is dated Jun 17 2020, which maps to PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX version 7.0.

    To resolve the issue seen, suggest to use the U-boot version from PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-J721E_07.01.00.10 | TI.com to solve the UDMA issue seen with the QNX CPSW2G driver.
