Dear Champs,

My customer is trying to implement splash on AM5728 by referring below application note of DRA7x

Early Splash Screen on DRA7x Devices (ti.com)

But, my customer have no idea how they should modify the patches for latest kernel when they checked below e2e.

Could you please provide more details how they can migrate it to PLSDK v6.3 for AM5728?

Could you please provide a guide how they can control LCD related registers in u-boot?

Is there any examples to control LCD in the non-OS/RTOS environment for AM57x?

Hi Sl,

We do not have a reference for this application note on the latest u-boot. What is the specific issue that they are facing while trying to follow these instructions, do you know?

I cannot comment on the AM335x example that you pointed out.

I'm not sure if we have an example of controlling LCD in non-OS environment in AM57x..

Due to big gap between instruction and latest SDK, they could not start anything and we also could not find any helpful comments in e2e.

I found below e2e and am trying to guide them based on below, but could not make any progress.

Hi SI,

Yes, we do not have the instructions for the latest SDK but someone more familiar with the u-boot should be able to use this as the starting point for the development and map the instructions.

This one has a slightly different way of implementation and may not map to what you need.

It would have been ideal to have the instructions on the latest SDK but right now we don't have any ability to take this up.
