Part Number: TDA2PXEVM
Hello, TI team.
There is a document about TDA2PX performance https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sprace3
Figure 22 in the document shows TDA2Px Surround View System, and according to the figure, 6 cameras can be connected and processed simultaneously.
But according to VisionSDK 3.07 source code and some related questions that have already been aked here (https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/processors-forum/866861/tda2p-acd-isp-8-channel-de-bayering/3209374?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=tda2px%252520ISS%2525206%252520channels#3209374) it doesn't look reachable without some changes in the sources. And there is no proofs that the changes are correct.
So could you clarify some questions:
- is there an example of usecase that really works with 6 cameras?
- ISP boxes on Figure 22 mean the same ISP instance or two different instances?
- Can ISP work with more than four cameras? (we need to convert RAW12 to YUV420)
- What are the real ISS capture restrictions? (https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/processors-forum/703535/tda2p-acd-capturing-more-than-4-image-streams-over-2-csi-2-ports/2593582#2593582 says that ISS Capture has only 4 picture processing modules, but it should be fixed in a new Vision SDK version)
Best regards,
Sergey
