CCS/AM3359: JTAG connection error with BeagleBone Black

Thank you for your suggestion.

I checked the power supply of the beaglebone board and it seems OK (the blue led near the power socket is on, without any other blinking led). I also tried to supply the board with the USB cable connecter to the PC and even supplying the board both with the external power supply connected and the USB cable, both I always have the same error.

I checked the XDS110 debug probe with a 28335 developmant kit and it works correctly.

Do you have any other idea or can you suggest me any test to perform?

I followed the instructions of the webpage you linked to me

up to the point where I created a new configuration file that point to the modified gel file.

Then I tested the connection according to the instructions but still I obtained an error message about target supply that I report in the bottom of the mail.

At the moment the BeagleBone an external power supply and the blue led is on.

In the data sheet of the beaglebone DDR3 i did not find all the parameters requested to fill the EXcell files used in the webpage you sent me, so I used the default values. A wrong setup of the DDR3 parameters could give the kind of error I obtained?

No, DDR3 settings are not related to JTAG connection to Cortex-A8 core. Now we see your issue is not related to PRU.

I suspect that the issue is related to your external JTAG emulator (may be you can try with another?) or to the issue described in below link.
