LMX8410LEVM: LO output power change - by changing register R45

Part Number: LMX8410LEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX8410L,

We are working with a LMX8410L demod and trying to change register R45 to control the LO power. But as you can see from the screen shot below, the TICS pro does not show a R45 for the LMX8410L.

Please suggest what we are doing wrong or a bypass.

Thanks

AJ

  • Hi AJ,

LMX8410L demod doesn't have the software controlled LO output power variation and it needs to hardware controlled, which resistive pull up or inductive pull up on the open collector outputs.

From the LMX8410LEVM, the resistors R54 and R55 were not populated and if want to have LO output, needs to be place these 2 resistors (R54 and R55).

    Thanks!
