Dears,

my customer is evaluating AFE7989 for small cell application, but they want to compare the DPD performance of their DFE vs our AFE7769D, so they wonder if AFE7969D is P-P compatible to AFE7989, if yes, they may conduct test with AFE7969D on their PCBA.

    Andrew,

    There is no AFE7969D part number. The AFE79xx family are RF sampling based 4T4R with 2FB, and none of the devices have DPD/CFR build in.

    The AFE7769D is Zero IF based on the 4T4R and RF sampling on the 2FB. It is the only device with DPD.

    No, the AFE79xx (including AFE7989) are not exactly pin compatible with the AFE7769D as these are two different architecture of devices.

    Please let me know if I have answered your question on this. Who is the end customer?
