I want to communicate only in one direction one end will send the data and the other end will receive the data. No handshaking no other protocols just one way communication. Is it possible with LAUNCHXL-CC1352P1 development kit?

Is it possible two send 2 mbps data to the receiver? Thank you

Hi,

You can use Proprietary mode.

Yes, 2MBPS data rate is possible.

You can use SmartRF Studio and check the readily available modes.

Please see the following table for CC13x2 features.

What is the maximum efficient data rate (symbol rates) for this device?

Also, for high data rates what is the value for deviation and RF filter bandwidth?

Do we need to add Packet interval for high data rates?

Hi,

Please download and Check SmartRF Studio for settings in different modes.

For 1MBPS, the deviation is 350KHz.

What do you mean by maximum efficient data rate?

If you increase the data rate, it occupies more bandwidth and you will get less range, if the Tx power remains the same.

You can use our Range Estimator to estimate the range. Range Estimator is available on our website.

Hi,

This is a transceiver but yes, you can use Tx only and Receive only options.

Efficiency depends upon the Range and Data rate requirement.

If you don't need higher data rate then use the lowest data rate required for your application.
