AWR1243: PSLoopBack to test BPM phase shifter performance

Part Number: AWR1243

Hello,

I was wondering if I can use the PSLoopback (PhaseShifter Loopback) to measure the phase shifter performance.

If I set up a frame with 2 chirps. The first chirp with Profile 0 which has a 0 degree phase shift. The second chirp with Profile 1 which has a 180 degree phase shift. Now my frame has these two chirps; one with 0 degree phase shift and the other one with 180 degree.

Before the frame trigger, I set up the PSLoopback frequency and enable it. Then I trigger the frame.  The main question is does the PSloopback test actually follow the settings of the biphase modulator or it does not change the state of the phase shifter during chirps during loopback ?

Regards,

RJ
