DRV5032: Equivalent part with sideways detection

Hello Guys,

Our customer is valuating the DRV5032FA hall sensor but found that the flux detection orientation is wrong for their application. Is there an alternative with sideways detection which is still SMT ?

    Hey Art,

    Thanks for reaching out on the forum.  So I presume you mean the customer does not want to sense in the z-direction with respect to the device.  If so, perhaps you can recommend the TMAG5123B to your customer..  That device is also omnipolar, has a slightly higher BOP range, senses in y-direction. and comes in a SOT-23 (3) package.
