TMCS1100: Different output in Spice models

Part Number: TMCS1100
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Hi E2E,

Our customer was simulating the TINA TI and Pspice models of TMCS1100A4 and it has different output as seen in the attached figure.

The TINA-TI shows the output value according to the formula in the datasheet, but the correct value does not come out in PSPICE for TI.

Is there any changes needed in the Pspice model to make it similar to TINA TI model?

Regards,
Carlo

  • Carlo,

The inversion of the output in SPICE is a known bug we are working to rectify, but unfortunately the TINA model is the only model with the correct output at the moment. It already looks like it is the case, but please ensure that the customer is using Rev B of the models.
