LM95234: Diode current source pins

Genius 14819 points
Part Number: LM95234

Hi Experts,

Good day.

May we know what's the voltage found at the current source pins (D1+, D2+, D3+, D4+)? of this digital temperature sensor - LM95234?

Thank you.

Regards,
Archie A.

  • Hi Archie,

The current source can go up to supply voltage if there is no diode connected. If a diode is connected, the voltage will be Vbe of that diode during the period that channel is measured. The datasheet shows that one ADC is multiplexed between channels, and it takes 34ms to measure one channel. You will have to use an oscilloscope to view the diode voltage.

    thanks,
