DRV5011: Die package

Hi,

Good Day. My customer wants to plan to switch to DRV5011ADYBHR (DSBGA) from DRV5011ADDMRR (X2SON) due to difficulty to find DRV5011ADDMRR in the market. He wants to confirm if these two parts are identical and use the same die on the inside and different on the packaging. Please advise. Thank you very much.

Thanks for reaching out with your question. Yes, DRV5011AD is the same device regardless of the package, however, there is a mechanical difference in the final location of the sensor due to the packaging. Please see below:
