Hi,
My customer need assistance.
I purchased IWR 1843 BOOST and DCA 1000 EVM from your company, I want to use these two devices for human motion recognition. Now the problem that puzzles me is how to collect point cloud data with these two devices? I want to collect point cloud data in the following format:
Please help. Thanks.
Hello,
Point cloud data cannot be collected using the DCA1000. May I ask what material/collateral you saw or used that led you to this decision?

Brennan
Hi Hartigan,

Hello Chong,
The link you have provided describes data collection using the ROS (Robot Operating System) packages developed for TI mmWave sensor. For more info on this, please see:

For your application, I would highly suggest starting here to assist in your development:

I would also recommend looking at the mmWave Industrial Toolbox labs to see if any of the existing applications can help you with your development:

I don't know why the two pictures cannot be shown. But I succeed to zoom in to check them.
Chong,
You are correct in that SDK 2.X does not support IWR1843. Why do you need the doppler bin, bearing, and intensity? Is this important in your application? You can also calculate these values using basic geometry and math if they are essential to your application.
